2009

i am EMO Acrylic painting on MDF My real name is Amy, although I am building my personality by reading and listening to music, I am still loosing myself by following this Emo lifestyle. The result will probably be that I will severely cut  myself. This bloody behaviour of these mostly young girls, is the reason why I painted this painting so intense red. EMO has been associated with depression, self injury and suicide. (Wikipedia "Emo" fashion and stereotype)
